The Most Maneuverable Fighter in The World F-16

F-16 Fighting Falcon

The Lockheed Martin F-16 is a single engine light weight multirole fighter. Originally design as an outright fighter, many multirole capabilities were added to it. The F-16 was produced to support the heavy weight F-15, as a result of heavy-light combination strategy adopted by the USAF.

F-16 is one of the most maneuverable fighter in the world. The F-16 was the first aircraft that was able to pull 9G, and to fly above Mach 2. F-16 is much smaller and agile that its predecessor, but has better avionics and can more armaments. The General Electric F110-GE-132 turbofan engine is one the most reliable engine in the world. The F-16 being more reliable, yet cheaper than most single engine fighter, is one most sold fighters in the world. Nations around the globe have F-16 in their airforces. The F-16 is described as the Porshe of the flying world. Continuously upgraded, F-16 Block 70/72 is the lastest version of the F-16. The USAF recently signed a deal with Lockheed Martin for support of its F-16 fleet until 2050s. This means the USAF is going to operate the F-16 for almost 3 decades more.

P 51D MUSTANG The Gaurdian of The B17

GUARDIAN ANGEL FOR THE B17 BOMBERS The P51 Mustang was one of the most effective planes of World War Two. The P51 Mustang gave the bombers of US 8th Air Force the fighter cover it so desperately needed over occupied Europe and, therefore, greatly assisted the bombing campaign against Nazi Germany in World War Two.       In May 1944, the P51-D was introduced. This plane was fitted with fuel drop tanks that gave it far greater mileage in the air. When these tanks were empty, they could be dropped so that the plane had the full use of its aerodynamics. This extra fuel gave the Mustang an ability to escort the US 8th Air Force bomber formations to just about any target in Western Europe. Such cover was vital to the Americans as they were participating in daylight raids primarily over Germany and were thus exposed to attacks by the Luftwaffe. Before the Mustang, American bombers flew in a box formation and relied on the fire power of the many guns car...

Carpet Bomber

Carpet Bombing also known as saturation bombing, is a large aerial bombing done in a progressive manner to inflict damage in every part of a selected area of land. The phrase evokes the image of explosions completely covering an area, in the same way that a carpet covers a floor. Carpet bombing is usually achieved by dropping many unguided bombs. Some Name of the Popular Bombers with link : 1. Rockwell B-1 Lancer     2.Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit   3.
